1. При достаточной емкости межсерверного линка,
все-таки доступ_к_диску != доступу_по_сети, можно
примонтировать каталог нового сервера на его прежнее место
на старом. Сделать это можно с помощью nfs, той же samba
и т. д.
Почитать: man nfsd; man mount; man smbmount.
При этом могут возникнуть "подводные камни" с блокировками
файловой системы и правами на файлы.
2. Дать новому серверу samba NetBIOIS-имя старого(строка "netbios name в
smb.conf"), а старый -- переименовать. По
производительности это лучший вариант.
По "прозрачности" -- тоже.
