Постоянно при выходе из исксов или при переключении в консоль
отключается монитор. Знакомый гуру предложил установить закрытые
драйвера от NVidia.
Первое, с чем я столкнулся это с отсутствием исходников ядра в
/usr/src После поисков обнаружил их /usr/lib/kernel/2.4.20-alt5 И вот
запускаю инсталятор, передав ему в качестве параметра путь к
исходникам ядра. Ругается на то, что ядро собрано gcc2.96, а у меня
3.2 (в дистрибутиве также есть 2.95) Я говорю продолжать, хотя меня
это, често говоря, не очень обрадовало. Далее вылетает с ошибкой:
ERROR: Unable to determine the NVIDIA kernel module filename.
Что посоветуете делать? Может перекомпилировать ядро и положить
нормальные исходники в /usr/src? Почему это несколько криво
реализовано в ALT? Почему хотя бы символическую ссылку не сделали?
Или то, что я нашел вообще не является исходниками?
