Проблема: поставил SATA HDD. BIOS его вполне признал, обозначив как
"Third IDE Master"
Однако в Линукс (которая Compact 2.3) никак не могу его найти.
Догадываюсь, что тут надо добавить в "командную строку" ядра что-то типа
hdelun=??, однако не имея никакой расшифровки этого параметра не смог
таки использовать метод великого и могучего и научного тыка до того,
чтоб до чего-то толкового дотыкаться.
М.б. кто-то знает как с этим бороться?
Или - хотя бы догадывается.
ТТД: ASUS P4C800 Deluxe, в частности в описании сказано:
"Storage:
Supported by South Bridge (ICH5)

-2xSerial ATA connectors {на что я, собственно, и полагался!}

да и BIOSе есть позиции}
