как узнать какие параметры в работающем сетевом интерфейсе?
(100mb, 10mb, full-duplex???)
ifconfig ничего толкового на этот счет не выдает:

Вероятно может помочь переменная debug: с debug level от 0 до-6.
Укажите её как параметр модуля при загрузке. Также смотрите вывод dmesg.

apt-get install mii-tool ethtool
rpm -ql mii-tool ethtool | grep bin
