Если Вы имеете ввиду редактирование ~/.icewm/toolbar, то меня
единственно проблема была - то что она файлы иконок искала в
какой-то своей дирретории, но прописыванием полного пути до иконки все
лечилось, то есть типа:
prog Музычка /usr/share/xmms/wmxmms.xpm xmms
Не очень понятно причем тут Сессия/Диспетчеры окон/IceWM, но если
интересно то у меня он запускался в ~/.xinitrc
