то что я видел в rh8 меня ужаснуло и вызвало рвоту... лучше уж
koi8 чем такая Unicode...
просто получаеться что мы в linux имеем вечные "трахи" с
кодировками - шрифты в куче кодировок, вечно где-то что-то в
"другой" кодировке показываеться... консоль и X вообще на эту
тему "не дружат" помоему...
Вообщем -хочеться иногда и однообразности хоть в вопросе
кодировки...
Может действительно имеет смысл сильно заточить все под cp1251 -
и с миром widnows будет общаться проще
