Не надо так категорично.:) Насколько я понял это случается при
некоторых комбинациях отдельно взятых приводов и некоторых
материнок. Например, даже в той ссылке, что пробегала в community@
одни и теже модели с разными мамами ведут по-разному.
У меня, например, LG DVD+CDRW GCC-4480 + GA-6OXC(i815EP) +
kernel 2.4.22-alt7 - проблем пока (тьфу,тьфу,тьфу) не возникало...:)
Тем не менее обновленными прошивками запасся, пока правда
необходимость перешивки не ощущается.
