я игрался с ним. от него лучше взять идею подсчета трафика и web-морду,

имхо, в конфиге все задокументировано.

в базу пишет скрипт squid2mysql, который читает данные из pipe'а
/var/log/squid/access.log, в который сквид пишет свои логи.
