Обновил ядро с kernel24-up#2.4.20-alt5@i586 на
kernel24-up#2.4.20-alt10@i586:
apt-get install kernel24-up#2.4.20-alt10@i586.
Synaptic пишет в системе два ядра, но практически уже одно в /boot.
При загрузке выдает не загружен модуль snd-intel8x0.o,
оказывается он стал i810_audio.o. Решил эту проблему :)
Теперь и не рискую обновлять сервер. Установка обновления нужно
для решения проблем безопасности.
Значит любой модуль может переименоваться и сервер может остановиться.
Слышал неоднократно про обновление DEBIAN с любой старой версии на новую
без каких-либо проблем. Как-же они с этим справляются???
