Для этого необходимо чтобы удаленная машина zzz поддерживала xdmcp
соединения. В kdm, если не ошибаюсь, разрешены удаленные соединения по
умолчанию, а в gdm запрещены. В зависимости от используемого ?dm нужно
произвести настройки машины zzz. При использовании gdm на машине xxx
можно запускать Х-сервер штатно, а потом выбрать с какого удаленного
сервера получить Х-ы...
