Я поставил себе скриптик запускаемый из скрипта стартуемого при
установлении dial-up, коий проверял -
запускался ли последние 18 часов скрипт синхронизации (это - поскольку
частенько обрывы, рестарты и т.п.).
Если нет - запускается скрипт в коем ntpdate обращается к куче
ntp-серверов (по списку), покуда не засинхронизируется (либо не
закончится список).
И никаких тебе cron-ов.
Но ведь и dial-up, понимаешь, тоже - не вершина прогресса, однако ;-)
