В этом ядре, насколько мне известно нативная поддержка nForce2 
net и nForce2 audio
Для работы сети в /etc/modules.conf надо добавить
alias eth0 nvnet
Какие модули должы быть для звука не знаю, т.к. не пользуюсь им 
попробуйте поискать в /lib/modules/2.4.20-alt7-up/kernel/sound/
Файлы с префиксом nv, например так:
find /lib/modules/2.4.20-alt7-up/kernel/sound/ | grep nv

Если не полуится просто скачайте драйвера для nForce2 с сайта 
нвидиа. Они при установке сами пропишутся где надо.

А вообще гонять nForce2 на 2.4.20 -- мазахизм %)
