Очень может быть, вот только не вижу я связи между чипсетом и
нестабильностью обновления биоса.
А nforce взял потому что на данный момент под AMD'шные камни это
самый быстрый вариант, и я безусловно согласен с тем что с любой
новинкой не избежать проблем, особенно под линуксом. Т.е. я как
должное принимаю то что первая мать перестала работать, и то что
у меня иксы работают только с nv дровами, такое я вполне могу
простить -- чипсет новый, мало обкатанный. Но вот почему с
биосами такая ерунда мне непонятно и оправданий этому я не вижу.
Биос мне к слову сегондя перепрошили снова сижу на 3402, иксы не
грузятся. Непонятно как только они на предыдущей маме грузились,
с той же версией биоса.
