Всем привет!
До вчерашнего дня использовал дома линукс один, а потому всегда
загружал систему в консольном режиме, а если надо было графику то
startx . Но вот решил жену тоже приобщить к линуксу и чтоб ей
было проще, прописал в inittab уровень загрузки - 5. В качестве
графического менеджера используется IceWM. После внесения
изменений в указанный выше файл перегрузил комп, однако менеджер
выбора пользователей явно какой-то ущербный: есть два поля, в
которых руками надо прописывать имя юзверя и соответственно
пароль для него. Вопрос следующий: а нельзя ли изменить этот
менеджер на KDE-шный? Чтоб жена кликала по своему значку и
набирала пароль. Кстати, на этапе выбора пользователя загружается
console, но в ней ничего нельзя сделать (тогда зачем она нужна?),
а после регистрации пользователя эта console так и остается на
панели задач, приходится каждый раз ее убивать вручную. Это баг
или еще что-то?
