Здравствуйте!
А чем вообще отличаются ядра kernel24-up и kernel24-linus-up? Описания у
них идентичны. Экспериментальным путем было выяснено, что в первом
фактически не работает моя звуковая карта (на emo10k1) и APIC, зато для
второго нет видеодрайвера с 3D-ускорением для NVIDIA и не работает пакет
splash.
Так зачем в дистрибутиве 2 однопроцесорных ядра, в каждом из которых
что-то не работает?
