Винт Seagate Barracuda IV
serg@localhost ~ $ hdparm -t /dev/hda
/dev/hda:
Timing buffered disk reads: 64 MB in 16.80 seconds = 3.81 MB/sec
Что удивляет. Под виндами на глаз быстрее раз в 5
serg@localhost ~ $ hdparm -d1 /dev/hda
/dev/hda:
setting using_dma to 1 (on)
HDIO_SET_DMA failed: Operation not permitted
using_dma = 0 (off)
Система Мастер2.0
В чем может быть дело?

1. Выполняйте hdparm под root.
2. Что у вас за мат. плата и нет ли чего на /dev/hdb?
