Привет всем!
Ниже копия мини-пресс-релиза
The AbiWord team continues to make great progress towards 1.0. In the 4
weeks since 0.99.2 was released we've closed tons of bugs, completed RTF
import/export, added great new image handling facilities and have made
AbiWord significantly faster.
Users may particularly enjoy the new Script plugin which imports the
output of any program into AbiWord, the AbiGimp plugin to enable image
editing using the GIMP and the image resize dialog.
Finally users may rest easy in the knowledge that Abiword uses the
latest (fixed)zlib in this release.
Лично мне второй и тетий абзацы понравились одинаково. Хотя я Abi и не
пользую :-)

Насчет второго -- не знаю, до сих пор plugins, по сути, не работали.
Бага zlib не имеет отношения к нашей сборке, так zlib к ней линкуется
системный, динамически.
abi-0.99.3 будет в Sisypus сегодня ночью, если сеть не упадет.

А вот если они избавились от громоздкости кода документов, которая меня
в своё время оттолкнула, это по-настоящему хорошо. А то 600 Кб на 15
листов текста - это можно было сразу удавиться :(

а мне таблицы и нормальную работу с русским, без хаков шрифтов.
и су довольствием буду пользоваться и другим рекомендовать/ставить.
