С в/консоли root-ом отдаю команду:
#/etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd extendedstatus
(следуя совету полученному при отдаче команды ..../httpd status)
и получаю в ответ:

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /server-status on this server.
_________________________________________________________________
Apache/1.3.23 Server at localhost.localdomain Port 80
##############################################################################

Subj ?!
При том, что директория /var/www/html/server-status/ пуста и
принадлежит root:root.
Кстати - если пуста, то зачем она?
И вообще - зачем тогда вышеупомянутый совет? Ежели Forbidden?
