Начал обновлять mod_php (с 4.0.5.RC1-ipl7mdk на 4.0.6-alt2).
Скачал, дал команду rpm -Uhv ....
После чего наблюдаю:

# rpm -q mod_php
mod_php-4.0.5.RC1-ipl7mdk
mod_php-4.0.6-alt2
# rpm -e mod_php
error: "mod_php" specifies multiple packages

Интересно... :-(

Ну вы написали rpm -e mod_php --all-matches ?
И rpm --rebuilddb на всякий...

Поскольку первый раз столкнулся с такой ситуацией, то слегка убоялся
что-то делать.
Не так уж важно (хоть и желательно) для меня обновление mod_php, по
сравнению с общей целостностью системы. Включая базы данных rpm.
Ну а теперь - написАл. Вроде как все в порядке. Спасибо.
А в первую очередь - посылал сообщеие как bugreport.
