Умеют. У меня первый Primary - маленький ext2 (/boot), второй - FAT32
(C:), далее в Extended - сначала D:, E:, потом Linux-разделы.
А вот тип Extended-раздела для больших дисков нужно ставить в 0x0f -
иначе в лучшем случае ничего не работает, в худшем - гробятся разделы.
