Задача вовсе не надуманная, если придавить все это smtp
авторизацией. Тогда имея open relay на уровне хостов и
авторизацию по имени и паролю легко сделать публичный сервак к
которому можно доступиться отовсюду, но пустят только после
авторизации. Совершенно реальная задача между прочим ;-)
