И не будет работать. Понеже как половина прог под виндами таковыми не
являются, это всего лишь оболочки для OLE - типичный пример - explorer.exe. Но
этот хоть как-то запускается, пусть криво. Лучше всего запускаются проги, на
винды не завязанные - winamp, например. Это чудо мне даже значок свой в трей
KDE сажает ;))) , хотя ума не приложу, как это сделано.

Чем меньше прога лезет в реестр - тем лучше живется. Чем больше в ней файлов -
тем хуже. Поскольку, в отличие от виндов, линух учитывает регистр в названии
файла, и если прога попросит C:\WINDOWS\proga.INI, а там будет
C:\Windows\proga.ini - то кукиш с маслом она будет работать, пока не
исправишь.
А dosemu, IMHO - на свалку.
