Задаю команду ping localhost, в ответ - unknown host localhost
B /etc/hosts прописан, так же как и другие сервера (то же не пингуются)
Интерфейс lo, 127.0.0.1, поднят, адрес пингуется.

В /etc/host.conf строчка
order hosts,bind
присутствует?
