Добрый день!
Дистрибутив Spring2001+updates.
На машине винчестер и CD-ROM, оба с интерфейсом SCSI.
В файле modules.conf имеются строки (остались после установки
дистрибутива):
alias block-major-11 scsi_hostadapter
alias scsi_hostadapter aic7xxx
Я что-то не могу сообразить, почему именно block-major-11?
Ведь 11 - это же номер для CD-ROM SCSI, и к том времени,
когда возникает необходимость в CD-ROM, модуль aic7xxx
уже загружен.
Самое интересное началось после обновления ядра из updates
на kernel22-up-2.2.19-alt7. В этом ядре модули sd_mod и sr_mod
сделаны загружаемыми. В результате sr_mod никто грузить не пытается
и устройства /dev/scdX отсутствуют.
Может это как-то учесть в скриптах обновления ядра?
