1. Плиз, представьте вывод команды locale, возможно в этом все
дело.
2. По своему опыту могу сказать, что лучшая смотрелка доступных
фонтов - gimp кажет вообще _все_ что только доступно X, причем со
всеми кодировками начертаниями и прочими подробностями по
_каждому_ фонту. Чертовски удобно, когда с фонтами вожусь -
только его и пользую. Гм... разумеется ИМХО.
