Вместе с samba*.rpm (особенно 2.2.1a-alt) идет масса
документации, на аглицком конечно, но очень толковой.
Живет в /usr/share/doc/samba**/docs
Начните с faq, затем ./htmldocs/using_samba дальше сами пойдету в
нужном направлении.
Ну и конечно
man smb.conf
он всегда варева лив так сказать - держать на отдельной консоли
пожизненно открытым :-))
И всегда помнить - Самба это попытка внести в дом UNIX протокол
из маздайного монастыря, и предвидеть траблы на этом тернистом
пути.
