Пробую у себя на системе перейти с koi8-r на cp1251 в локали, т.к.
необходимо править файлы в виндовой кодировке :(
Итак проблемы:
1) Мозилла не показывает в заголовке окна title страницы :( т.е. меняет
русские буквы точками, если в title есть английские буквы, и ничего
пообще не показывает если токовых нет... :(
2) В файловой системе были файлы с русскими именами, понятное дело, все
стало не в той кодировке :( как это безболезненно исправить?
3) При старте системы перестал правильно отрабатывать setsysfont, хотя
если запустить ручками потом из консоли то все нормально :(
4) Где взять unicode_map.WINDOWS-1251 для samba-ы?
