После добавления принтера (samba, авторизация), печать проходит нормально.
Если демон cups перезапущен, принтер находится в остановленном состоянии, запустить его невозможно.
В файл конфига printers принтер добавлен далее вручную. После перегрузки демона, принтер готов к работе, все задания проглатывает, состояния задач - завершены, но на деле ничего не печатается.
