Да, получилось. WinAmp, например. Правда, wine последний
(20010731). Но WinAmp работал и под, как минимум, двумя
последними версиями. При этом я ничего не делал, просто собрал
wine.

Вот именно через Wine DirectSound у меня WinAmp и работает.
При попытке использовать, например, waveOut plug-in вываливается
сообщение об ошибке.
