Настроил CUPS для печати на win98. Печатает нормально только ps файлы. Текст печатает только, когда вслед пошлёшь postscript. Да и то в одну строку. Русский кракозябрами.
Принтер hp5p.
Что можно сделать?

имхо
настроить postscript.
конкретнее - фильтр под него есть для чисто текстовых файлов.
А так, конечно, он посылает файл, как есть, и соотвтественно результат
аналогичен команде из под дос copy myfile.txt lpr1
только кодировка еще даже koi8-r небось...
