Всем добрый день,
поставил новые XFree из Sisyphus.
Ядро - 2.4.5-alt2.
При установке одна проблема - XFree не вытаскивают пакето xterm.
Обратите на это внимание - пакет нужно доставлять отдельно. Тот xterm,
который находится сейчас в Sisyphus обладает рядом глюков, так что стоит
подождать следующего обновления (xterm-156-alt3 работает без проблем).
Автор пакета XFree проинформаирован и добавит зависимость на xterm
3D настроилось и заработало сразу во всех режимах, включая DualHead с
отключенной Xinerama.(на одном мониторе)
При включенном DualHead наблюдаеются некоторые проблемы (они были и
раньше, но более заметные) с текстурами в UnrealTournament.
При отключенной второй голове никаких проблем ни с чем не возникает!
Значительно выросла скорость работы UT и всех остальных 3D приложений.
Просто на порядок. Дома еще проверю на G400, но на G450 - это так.
Перестала зависать система на morph3d.
В общем - вывод: XFree 4.1.0 - супер ;-)))
