Просто информация:
при запуске fetchmailconf под KDE (что из меню, что из строки)
наблюдается следующее:
1. на какое-то очень короткое время открывается окно - кроме самого
факта открытия заметить ничего не удается;
2. в правом верхнем углу образуется маленький такой квадратик цвета фона
в окнах, в котором видны обрывки текста, причем квадратик этот виден на
всех рабочих столах, мыши он не поддается - не двигается, не меняет
размеры и не закрывается (!), удалить его удается только посредством
Ctrl-C если запускал из терминала, либо выходом из KDE без сохранения
сессии.
При запуске в Gnome fetchmailconf ведет себя вполне пристойно.
Правда, kppp что-то не так в Gnome делает (но дальше я уже не
разбирался, вернувшись в KDE), поэтому тестировать настройку в Gnone не
удалось.
Впрочем, dial-up (уже в KDE) показал, что fetchmail заработал. По
простейшей схеме, впрочем. Правда, запускать fetchmail пришлось вручную,
из терминала.
