Уважаемые господа разработчики!
Я заметил одну особенность стартовых скриптов Х связанную
с wmselect. Если wmselect не используется (для root или при
специальной настройке ~/.xinitrc обычного юзеря), то запуск Х
осуществляется через скрипт
/etc/X11/Xsession
который
1) читает глобальные /etc/X11/Xresources
2) выполняет скрипты в /etc/X11/xinit.d (imwheel там всякий и т.д.)
плюс ещё несколько мелочей.
Но при использовании wmselect, Xsession не выполняются.
Соответственно глобальные Xresources и xinit.d побоку со
всеми вытекающими последствиями.
Нехорошо это как-то, нелогично.
