В общем-то мелочь, но все-таки:
скачал "вручную" (но по указке сабжа) kernel-2.2.19 (в комплекте) и
поставил его тоже вручную: rpm -ihv ......
Так теперь MandrakeUpdate при каждом запуске заявляет, что ядро надо
update. Т.е. он(а/о) видит, что имеется установленная более старая
версия, а то, что новая версия уже установлена в системе - не видит.
А я пока что выжидаю, не удаляю 2.2.18.
Кстати - если я дам команду(ы) типа
rpm -e kernel-2.2.18-up, alsa-.... и т.п.
- у меня ничего из того, что установилось для 2.2.19 - не удалится?
Простите за невежество, но уж очень не хочется всякие там rescue -
процедуры проводить. Все таки посложнее чем в DOS 3.30 будут.
