Да в общем то не за что :-))
Тем более, что какого либо практического смысла в удаленном запуске kde
или gnome лично я не вижу (чисто спортивный интерес), для реальной
работы нужны приложения, а не диспечер окошек, а как раз с приложениями
вроде бы все нормально обстоит. Хотя раскинуть понты, показав кому
нибудь сразу три или четыре одновременно запущенных оконных менеджера на
одном мониторе конечно можно ;-)
