Hello!!
Вопросы к разработчикам RE.
1. А чем принципиально отличается, собранная Вами в rpm, samba от той,
которую можно получить скачав samba-2.0.7.tar.gz с одного из зеркал
samba.org (например ftp://ru.samba.org/pub/samba) и произведя над ней
классические манипуляции ./configure; make; make install ??
То, что месторасположение файлов будет другим я уже понял :-)) Меня
интересуют принципиальные различия.
2. А откуда Вы скачиваете исходники для пакета samba-client? Я не нашел
их :-((, возможно плохо искал -- со мной такое бывает... Или можно взять
данные исходники из Сизифа с целью их сборки под другой OS?
Данный интерес продиктован необходимостью собрать samba под SCO Open
Server 5, ибо имеющиеся бинарники версии 2.0.3 вступают в злостный
антагонизм с W2K клиентами :-((
