Убрал из configure все что касается xpm . В итоге configure проходит без
ошибок, make и make install то же без ошибок. Далее откорректировал
httpd.conf как в руководстве по установке и получаю ошибку при рестарте
httpd.
[root@server2 conf]# apachectl configtest
Syntax error on line 71 of /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf:
Cannot load /etc/httpd/modules/libphp4.so into server: /usr/lib/libgd.so.1:
undefined symbol: uncompress
Пути проверил, все в порядке, Где копать?

PHP собран с одной библиотекой GD, а реально он использует другую.
Нужно внимательно посмотреть что, как и где собирается.
