Добрый день!
Вышли новые драйвера для NVIDIA: http://www.nvidia.com/Products/Drivers.nsf/Linux.html
Там есть специальный пакет для Mandrake 7.1. Интересует, годится ли он
для немедленного использования в системах RE или будет выпущена
модификация by IPLabs?

Это коммерческие драйверы, более того -- без права распространения. Мы
не будем включать коммечреских составлюющих в основные компоненты
системы, даже когда это возможно (в случае с Matrox, например).
Что касается указанных драйверов, то об их пригодности для XFree86-4.0.2
не говорится. Я бы советовал быть осторожнее.
