Дело в том, что согласно новому стандарту FHS man-pages должны лежать в
/usr/share. Это учитывается во вновь собираемых пакетах, о чем здесь
говорилось. Добавьте /usr/share/man в man.config. А man man надо бы
обновить, спасибо.
