Как с помощью kde4utils-print установить принтер. Описание пакета гласит:

hal-cups-utils.

В автозагрузке он есть, и в процессах наблюдается. Но на принтер никак не
реагирует. И никакого "configure new printers" и auto-configured не
наблюдается.
Подозреваю, из-за того, что принтер древний Epson C43SX с параллельным
интерфейсом.
localhost:631, конечно, должен спасти. Но хотелось бы это сделать с
помощью kde4utils-print.
Есть ли какоето заклинание для этого?
