А может вы хотите иметь два линукса на одном экране без перезагрузки?
Например, устанавливаете ALTLinux на компьютер (Host Environment), настраиваете X чтобы запускался без -nolisten TCP.
Загружаете с http://download.openvz.org/template/precreated/ виртуальный линукс, создаёте себе его экземпляр (instance, Virtual Environment=VE), в нём определяете DISPLAY=<HE-IP>:0.0, а в HE-шных X-ах разрешаете подключение из VE (xhost +<VE-IP>), и пожалуйста, все программы из виртуального линукса работают не хуже и не медленнее чем из "хадрверного" (HE).
