Интересный эффект, наблюдавшийся мной в Linux и Windows: кодеки divx
четвёрой ветки в обеих системах приводят к разным, но одинаково неприятным
результатам:
1. В Linux при использовании aviplayer (xine сегодня буду смотреть)
звук идёт прекрасно, но половина кадров теряется
2. В Windows ни один кадр и ни один звук не теряется, однако
рассинхронизация отвратная - от 5 секунд и до бесконечности.
Кодек третьей ветки для Windows даёт нормальный звук, нормальную
картинку и полную синхронизацию. Возникшее по это причине желание
найти кодек третьей ветки для Linux не удовлетворено - на rpmfind.net
только (0.)4.3. А его, как очевидно, просто процессор мой не тянет
(200ММХ).
Отсюда больной вопрос: что легче и дешевле: искать кодек третьей ветки
или купить новые корпус/материнку/проц/память?
Если таковой кодек есть, то где его ещё искать? На freshrpms вообще
ужас ...
