На всякий случай, напишу как у меня, хотя будет интересно и с NX
поковыряться если есть смысл.
Как по наследству досталось - так и пользую до сих пор следующее решение :)
На машинке куда надо ходить делаем файлик /usr/bin/vncserv следующего
содержания:
x11vnc -auth /var/lib/gdm/:0.Xauth -passwdfile /etc/X11/gdm/.passwd
На машинке с которой идём делаем файл /usr/bin/vncview:
vncviewer -noshared -encodings 'copyrect tight hextile zlib corre rre
raw' -compresslevel 9 -quality 2 -bgr233 ipаddress.or.hostname
Вводим пароль, который в /etc/X11/gdm/.passwd и пользуем удалённый десктоп.
Проверено, вполне устойчиво работает даже на gprs-edge (jeans) :),
хотя сейчас использую мтс-коннект
А вообще, x11vnc пользую только если сбойнул tightvnc - с ним вроде
тоже отлично всё работает, пока не начинаешь разлогиниваться.
Там в xorg.conf надо пару строчек запихнуть, но у меня не всегда работало.
