На центральной машинке в представительстве хранилище документов.
rdesktop на клиенте запускается с параметрами подключения локальной
папки, в которую монтируется nfs шара.
Методом научного тыка из нескольких сотен документов в корне шары был
выявлен "виновник" файл с именем длиной в 80 с хвостиком русских
буквачек с кучей точек, тильд и прочих ненужных там символов (utf-8)
:)
Шара подключалась и тут же отваливалась, пока не переименовал файл :)
Вообщем дело было в ограничении кол-ва символов в пути
