Я собирал драйвер для e100, взятый откуда-то с www.intel.com, так там
в man e100 написано несколько по-другому:
insmod e100.o e100_speed_duplex=1 - как раз для 10Mb/half duplex
У меня в /etc/modules стоит так (и работает):
alias eth0 e100
options e100 e100_speed_duplex=2
--
