Здравствуйте!
Дождался заветных дисков.
Установка прошла на УРА!
Все железо определилось, а что не определилось поработал руками.
Все понравилось. Все работает без видимых проблем. Возникли
правда некоторые вопросы, но о них потом.
Главная проблема возникла когда при загрузке выбрал другую ОС
(проклятые форточки 98). Начинается загрузка и получаю:
ERROR: Unable to control A20 line!
XMS Driver not installed.
В следствии чего HYMEM не грузится и все остальное.
Лечится это (нашел пока два способа) или на маме свичем очищаем
CMOS или в BIOS поиграться с удалением всех установок и загрузкой
по умолчанию.
Железо:
DIGITAL Venturis FX-2 (брандовый)
К6-166, 64 ОЗУ, HDD 10G...
Просмотр логов наводит на одну мысль (2.2.18 и на 2.2.19 пробовал):

Раньше работала 7.0RE+Appendix с ядром 2.2.16 и такого небыло.
Как бы эту ситуацию побороть?
А то влом каждый раз корпус разбирать.
