У меня имеются проблемы с установкой Linux Mandrake 7.0 RE (с CD-ROM) на
компьютер:
1. Не запускается графическая оболочка установки DrakConf, хотя в инструкции
по установке это оговаривается четко и однозначно
2. В текстовом режиме после предварительного диалога о оптимизации жесткого
диска и автоматического монтирования сменных устройств появляется окно с
циничной надписью "An error occured no avaible partitions" и на этом все
заканчивается
В чем здесь грабли? Одну вещь, кажется, нашел - не поддерживаются
нижеупомянутые приводы компакт-дисков (это при попытке загрузиться с
дискеты).
Еще вопрос: как средствами сабжа разбить диск на необходимые разделы и
установить файловую систему Линуха?
ЗЫ. О платформе: P133/16/1,0 Gb/CD-ROM Asus CD-S360 (использовался и TEAC
CD-540E)/интегрированный видеочип ATI mach 64 (матплата Intel 430FX). Диск
тоже вполне легален (заказан через он-лайн магазин "BOLERO".
