Чипсет ServerWorks. В ядре есть.
На xSeries (непомню какой у меня там) 2xP-3-1200, 512, SCSI-Raid у
меня крутится master2.0 + oracle 9.2.0.1. Весьма не плохо.

suse forever.
Master 2.0 + 2.4.20 ядро + руки + чтение документации + ... = рабочий oracle.
Если Master 2.2, то ядро можно стандартное. Проверяно, но не на xSeries
(ну это и не важно)
