Приветствую сообщество =)) !
Возникла нужда обновить MySQL 4.0 (ОС - ALM 2.4 с
backports, без обновлений Сизифа) на 4.1 или на
5.0.
Пробовал 2-мя способами - не получилось:
1) скачал с Сизифа пакеты для установки
MySQL 5.0, попытался установить через rpm -
зависимости, зависимости, зависимости ...
2) вписал в /etc/apt/sources.list пути к Сизифу,
попытался
apt-get upgrade MySQL-server
получил
The following packages have been kept back ....
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 removed and 144 not upgraded.
попробовал
apt-get install MySQL-server
33 upgraded, 9 newly installed, 1 replaced, 59 (!!!) removed and 74 not
upgraded.
Вот и вопрос - как же обновить MySQL???
Помогите, пожалуйста 8-
))

Кажется, у кого-то из lakostis@ и hiddenman@ были сборки для M24.
Вообще не совсем тривиально, я в своё время подумал и решил так
не делать.
