А кроме НР ничего больше не рассматривается?
У нас много киосер используется, вроде ничего так аппараты.
К сожалению именно к альтам они не подключены, но помоему это обычные аппаратные железяки, должны работать с любой осью.
В CUPSе поддержка этих принтеров давно есть.
Заправлять можно почти беспроблемно. Одной нормальной заправки может хватать до 5-7тыс страниц.
Посмотрите к примеру на модельку FS-1028, можно как сетевой принтер использовать, а сканить можно в сетевую шару или е-мылом например.
